The NVDC TEAM is an advanced training and competitive dance experience for those dancers who are self-motivated and driven. The NVDC TEAM currently consists of four competitive age tiers: Mini (ages 6-8), Junior (ages 9-11), Preteen (ages 12-13) and Teen/Senior (ages 14-18). Age does not always guarantee which tier dancers will be placed in, placement will ultimately be decided by the Director. Required classes and TEAM practice will be determined by how many routines each dancer is placed in.
The NVDC TEAM attends two dance conventions and four competitions a year. There are additional, but optional conventions and competitions offered throughout the year for dancers. The TEAM also performs at community events and in our annual recital, giving them 7 or more opportunities to perform each year. The NVDC TEAM is a 10 month commitment running August thru May with additional Summer opportunities.
The NVDC TEAM will hold auditions in April this year! Season 7 auditions will be held on Wednesday April 29, 2026 and will be scheduled by age group. If you are a returning NVDC TEAM member, please audition with your current team level. You do not need to be a current NVDC dancer to audition. Auditions will be closed to viewers and kept confidential (no photos will be allowed). There is a $50 audition fee per dancer.
Mini and Junior Auditions:
Wednesday 4/29/26 3:30-5:30pm at the studio.
Preteen and Teen Auditions:
Wednesday 4/29/26 5:30-7:30pm at the studio.
